Watch against all enemies full. I used to study this type of activism and I am quite familiar with this story and its character.
This movie was trying to prostrate as it was positively event when the real story was nothing what that movie was made out to be. There is a lot of stories in this movie that needs to addressing to. I'll leave a few examples in here:
First of off, this lady was never had a romance with this Civil Rights activist.
Secondly, the FBI was not harassing her all because of hers political, nor because of hers involvement with Civil Rights, except it was because of her being involvement with a racist black group that was attempting to rob a several business and motivate to kill the enforcement.
Lastly, this lady was arrested for treason, publicity destruction, hatred, and harassing the soldiers whose return from Vietnam.
This movie needs to re-fix with fact-checking, instead of doing it to supports the propaganda.
I'll give it a 10 star once they fix it, but I know they won't.
(EDIT: Do some research instead of clicking dislikes all because you are offended by it...

Watch against all enemies quotes. She shouldn't have involved in politics of any sorts for whatever reasons. RIP Jean Seberg. Star Wars: The Last Jedi - to say that a lot has been said about this movie is an understatement. But today I am not telling you about how I despised that movie, or how I found it brilliant. I am here to present a theory (first postulated by others) that the film was greatly restructued in reshoots and editing. "But how? " you would say. "Both 'Rogue One' and 'Solo' dealt with heavy reshoots and the news were all over it! " Well, that is the "conspiracy" part that postulates that an effort was made to keep the changes made to The Last Jedi off the press. As to why - I cannot say. Perhaps it was to cover up the mistakes of the higher-ups, or to "preserve an agenda", or maybe simply because it never leaked and Lucasfilm was able to control the narrative to avoid bad publicity. While much of what follows is pure speculations, there are also some public facts that support this theory. Anyway, when originally written, shot and edited, The Last Jedi went as follows: The movie originally opened as the Resistance was evacuating from Crait while the First Order advanced. This key presumption comes from the fact revealed in the "Making Of" book that the opening battle was not originally over D'Qar and the opening scene features obvious green-scren replacement. Of course, the battle progressed not quite like in the final movie. While the Resistance still had the fleet they were evacuating as the Walkers closed by, the speeders were sent out to buy some time as a diversion. It makes sense to send out troopers and speeders as a delaying strategy, while in the final cut they end up contributing nothing and would be of much better use hiding behind the supposedly impenetrable door, waiting to hold off the advancing enemy. Neither Luke, nor Rey with Chewie and the Falcon are present on Crait. The duel between Luke and Kylo does not happen, Resistance simply escapes. It is possible Finn was still present - the same "Making Of" book reveals that he originally participated in the opening battle, so either he woke up much earlier, or the movie began some time later than immediately following TFA. Now that the Resistance escapes from Crait, the opening space battle happens. Only the drednaught has no guns that fired on the planet below (again, "Making Of" book) and is not quite an imminent danger to the fleet. Some dialogue was changed in the reshoots, but originally Poe's decision to commit to the attack was indeed quite reckless instead of coming up as a reasonable loss against destroying a major threat. Slow space chase progresses mostly the same. However, we know that many of Holdo's lines were redubbed in the post, which could have also been used to change the overcall structure. Canto Bight is much longer in this version. Both "The Art of" and "Making of" books revealed that Canto Bight sequence was intended to be much longer, with entire sets being build that were completely abscent from the movie. Some of those deleted scenes are found on the Blu-Ray release, while others, involving the chase after the "Butcher of Brix" were glimpsed in screenplay pages shown in behind-the-scenes video. The original Codebreaker was to have a much larger role in the plot, assisting Finn and Rose until was caught up by the law enforcement. Everything with Luke and Rey on the island happens the same. After Rey leaves, Luke has a scene with Yoda and that is the last we see of him in the movie. Now, the climax takes place on Snoke's ship. There is no planet for Resistance to escape to, so Holdo's plan always involved a sacrifice play. That's the entire reason why she keeps it from Poe: she knows it's their only chance in a hopeless situation and doesn't want him to try and stop her. Now, the famous disappearing dagger. The theory postulates that it was not a sloppy choreography mistake fixed with CGI, no. Instead, Rey was meant to actually be stabbed - notice how she gasps when the dagger is about to hit her. The wound would not be fatal, but it would be her "losing arm" moment and would have restricted her mobility, which becomes very important. If you saw the Plinkett review, you remember how he wanted the movie to end right when Kylo offered Rey to join him? Well, this theory suggests that it did. Either Rey joined Kylo or it was left ambigous - she was still injured and was with him at the end, creating a massive cliffhanger. All ends are tied up: Snoke is dead, the Resistance escapes thanks to Holdo's sacrifice and there is a sequel hook to keep the audience in suspence. Maybe we see Luke looking at Twin Suns. "So, what happened? " you say. Well, two things happen. One is that The Force Awakens's biggest criticism was following the plot of A New Hope to a beat. The scenario I just laid out also does the exact same thing with The Empire Strikes Back, so what they do is create a fourth act by moving the "snowspeeders against walkers on a white planet" part to the end and adding new material to it. The other is that the studio executives see that Luke Skywalker ends up doing absolutely nothing in the whole movie, which had a fight against the Red Guards at the end, but no real lightsaber fight. Rian Johnson is asked to include one and here's where the rewrite happen. By this point Colin Trevorrow is still working on Episode 9. He would later leave this cryptic tweet to Mark Hamill. The same Mark Hamill who went on to say that he approved of what Trevorrow did while being openly critical about TLJ. It would appear that Trevorrow's Episode 9 dealt with still alive Luke, and the decision to kill him was made much later than the principal photography, adding injury to Mark Hamill's insult. Rian Johnson also talked in the commentary how he experimented with keeping Luke alive by just cutting away from him during the editing. It shows that the final decision as whether to kill Luke Skywalker in Episode 8 was not yet made. While other scenes in the movie were either re-edited or re-dubbed to fit the new structure, Crait saw some promiment reshoots to create a new final act. Instead of staying with Kylo, Rey now rejoins the group - how sloppy the change is evident in the final film. We last see her in Supreme Leader's Throne Room in the middle of the massive ship, then a character says off-screen that she stole "Snoke's personal shuttle" which we never see at all, and when we next see her, she already contacted Chewie and re-boarded the Falcon, shooting at TIE Fighters with a glee on her face and not a trail of the emotinal trauma she faced less than an hour ago. The scene of her lifting rocks also contains some obvious green screen. Everything with Luke on Crait is new and part of the reshoots. So are most scenes in the "bunker" set, while the outdoor action is repurposed from the original opening. You can see some sings that Crait almost resets everything in the final cut: Instead of being cripped by Holdo's maneuver, the First Order is instantly able to deploy the walkers and the cannon. Instead of willing to "let the past die" Kylo goes back to screaming in rage, as if his conversation with Rey never happened. Poe is proclaimed as a leader by Leia, who demoted him earlier, and that is before he started the munity! Not to mention that the extended fourth act makes the film too long, taking it way the past the point where it should logically have ended. In the documentary on Blu-Ray Rian Johnson says: I feel like I need to rewrite the opening sequence, in terms of the big-picture stuff of what's going on. Watching the whole thing together, I freaked... I freaked out. Because I'm like, "this doesn't track. " You can't follow what's happening. You can't follow what the big stakes are. I got really scared. So how come nobody said all this out loud? Well, there's some conspiracy thinking here, but basically damage control. New Lucasfilm management seems much more tight compared to its predecessors. Author J. W. Rinzler, who wrote great in-detail books about the making of the Origial Trilogy as well as Episode 3, started working on TFA, but later told this: "There was no chance that book was going to be published. I knew when I started writing it that it would be cancelled... there were a lot of things that were known to the public that I think Disney and Kathleen Kennedy just didn't want to rehash. Now, imagine the things not known to the public, and remember that his books revealed many hitherto unknown facts about the original films, which were some of the most-documented movies of all time. And then Tony Gilroy revealed last year that Rogue One reshoots were of larger scale than initially reported. It could be that after bad press around Rogue One re-edits and firing of Lord and Miller from Solo, Lucasfilm was desperate to report a clear, smooth production, especially since they already gave the director his own trilogy. We don't know what NDAs were signed and how many people aren't talking because they still work on these movies. Could be that the layer of overall secrecy meant that most of those involved (both cast and crew) never knew the whole picture to begin with, not to mention that story changing during production and editing is nothing new in any major production. Whether you liked The Last Jedi or hated it (there is no option in between, as internet tells me), I will let you decide for yourself: imagine the movie beginning with Crait (sans Luke and Rey) and ending with the awesome silent lightspeed-ramming scene, followed by Rey taking Kylo's hand. Wouldn't that be a more intersting movie with much higher stakes for Episode 9?
